Boomslank's new shirt will make you want to pilot a badass robot

Gotta love mecha apparel

So I was thinking about how there need to be more shirts of original giant robots and a glorious miracle happened. It turns out that Boomslank released a new mecha shirt called "Megalith," which gives us the feeling of seeing a unit launch into the sky.

Interestingly, P-Shinobi's inspiration for the shirt was the song "Megalith Anus Dei" from Ace Combat 4. While the game deals with jets, the piece shows that its more about the feeling you get from the tune than the title's content. Since his intentions if for the person to feel overwhelmed, a giant robot worked well on this topic. The idea of watching it fly by captures this moment well. Who knows, this shirt might make you three times faster if you wear it.

Ever since Former Japanator Editor-in-Chief Tim Sheehy hired them to design the lovely Ai-Fi, I started to admire more of their original designs. It's always a treat to see what sort of merchandise they come up with for their art.
