Bring out the trumpets: Nozomi's Sound of the Sky Blu-ray set launches this June

Music will triumph over war

If you've been holding out on getting Sound of the Sky, then you can look forward to the show's Blu-ray release on June 6. Of course, this new collection will include the special episodes and features from the DVD set Nozomi released in the past.

When I first heard about the anime, I remember hearing some of Jtor's former Writers referring to it as Yui goes to War. In all seriousness, from what I watched of the show, it had a nice balance between Kanata, the show's lead, and her comrades bonding together, along with giving us some intriguing stuff about the technology and lore of the civilization that preceded them. My minor issue with the series was that the show's character designs weren't close to Mel Kishida's (Atelier Rorona and Heaven's Memo Pad's Original Character Design) original art. Nonetheless, it didn't prevent me from enjoying the episodes I watched.

So is anyone looking forward to owning Sound of the Sky on Blu-ray?
