Brooklyn Robotworks brings your favorite bots to life

Where's my Gypsy Danger?

There's always some guy at a convention that tries to look like a robot. Whether there's a bit of effort or a simple Cardboard Gundam, you're bound to find somebody clomping around in a suit. While that's all well and good, the photos from the Brooklyn Robotworks have set my robo-lover heart aflame.

Made from various household items and re-purposed plastic, these suits are hand-made by one Peter Kokis. Built to house a human, Kokis's creations include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Starscream, a Terminator, a robotic Xenomorph and, more recently, Pacific Rim's Crimson Typhoon.

If you're interested in seeing any of these creations, Brooklyn Robotworks can be contacted for appearances. Just imagine going to an event and seeing that Crimson Typhoon out in front. Now all they need are some Gundams and the Gypsy Danger and I'd give them all the monies.

Pedro Cortes has been known to swoon at the sight of a robot. This is understandable, as robots are pretty awesome. more + disclosures
