Can you use the new Kinect in a Tokyo apartment?

Does size really matter?

The hilarious team over at RocketNews24 were on a mission. The last version of Microsoft's Kinect system for the XBox 360 was a very cool idea. It had one huge problem, it needed a lot of room and light to work. Both things typically not available to a Tokyo gamer in their home.

Well, the good news is that it sure looks like it works. The bad news is you really only have the snoozer XBox One title, Kinect Sports Rivals to play it on. While the system still doesn't have a launch date in Japan, this change may help them actually sell some systems this time around. Personally, my living room is tiny, so having a Kinect that works is a welcome inclusion.
