Celebrate Secret of Evermore's 20th Anniversary with a remastered soundtrack

Don't underestimate a dog's loyalty

Oct. 1 may not be here yet, but that isn't stopping Sean Schafianski (Chrono Trigger: Jazz Arranged Version) from releasing his Secret of Evermore arranged soundtrack known as Secret of Evermore: Remastered Tracks. In terms of the guy's approach to his latest work, he did his best to capture the important aspects that made Jeremy Soule's (Icewind Dale and Skyrim's Soundtrack) original piece great. On top of that, he made sure to add his own twist to each tune.

While I missed out on playing Secret of Evermore, Schafianski's take on the title's music feels right at home with the various tunes that complement the RPG genre. Since the game involves a kid going on adventures with his faithful dog, I feel ashamed that I haven't gotten my hands on it. That and it shares some similarities with Secret of Mana, which is another factor that makes me want to play it one day.

Anywho, Secret of Evermore: Remasted Tracks can be purchased at Schafianski's LOUDR page. Depending on your ties to the game, you might feel a great sense of joy from hearing these tunes.
