Check out the first minute of Knights of Sidonia

0

The CGI anime will arrive this April.

Here's your first chance to watch a clip from the upcoming anime adaption of Knights of Sidonia! The CGI series is being made by Polygon Pictures, and will air in Japan in April. But fear not, international fans! Netflix will be streaming the series worldwide in the summer. It appears they'll be doing their typical "bulk upload" though, and will post all 12 episodes at once, so the release date on Netflix might not be until after the series finishes in Japan.

Still, this first clip looks fairly good. Polygon Pictures is the studio behind Transformers: Prime, which I haven't seen, but my girlfriend assures me is excellent. They've won several awards for their work, and will also be collaborating with Studio Ghibli for Goro Miyazaki's TV series, Sanzoku no Musume Ronia, so they've definitely got a lot coming up soon.

Any fans of Sidonia out there?
