Congrats to our Vandread contest winners!

Well, you guys had a lot of ideas to suggest to us, and there was plenty to compile and put into notes, but I'm finally done with all that and ready to announce our Vandread winners! I'd like to congratulate Kamanashi, Devilmonkey, fission2, Jumi and Heavydwayne for submitting ideas that won.

We really appreciate you guys taking the time out of your day to help us find ways to improve the site, both from a content and a technical point of view. Your submissions ranged from the easy to do to the more over-arching ideas, and we'll be discussing each and every one of them.

If you've ever got site ideas, or want to get in touch with us, be sure to check out the information available on our about page.

And now, the winners' suggestions after the jump (remember, these were randomly chosen):

Start your own wrestling league where Brad is a muscle bound android who is remote controlled by Kagami. All the other Jtor staff will then join in as his super Otaku friends of justice who go out and find bad guys for Brad to wrestle. Together, with the power of rainbows and Miku Hatsune's music, Jtor shall rid the world of evil doers, even if they have to wear spandex like a power ranger. (Note: if you would like, you can all wear green power ranger style outfits, but only if they are green. Green was the coolest one.)

Who can write the best 15-words-or-less review of any anime.

Soundbites! (We want to share our voices over the net)
Subtitling Challenges! (Give us a stock photo/video clip and let us do the dialogue)
More Giveaways! (Self-explanatory there)

Have a scavenger hunt at Anime Expo.

The Scavenger hunt was a great idea. For next time, you should hold off on the scavenger hunt and go straight for the cosplay. Depending on what the prize is, you should have people cosplay as their favorite character from the series. Or you could do something like funimation did for their contest to send people to comic-con. Make a fan video. The video should only be about 30 seconds but have a certain theme about the anime, musical, drama, love, action, horror ect... It's a lot of fun doing these kinds of things and just as fun to watch them. It's something the readers as well as you will enjoy.
