Crunchyroll serving up Kodansha manga digitally

Starting Wednesday, users will be able to read select Kodansha manga.

Wow, Crunchyroll, slow down! In their effort to grab everything from the current anime season, Crunchyroll accidentally snagged some manga too. No, far from an accident, starting on Wednesday the site will be offering select Kodansha manga digitally! They will "simulpub" 12 titles on the same day as their release in Japan, allowing you to keep up with the latest titles. Free users will only be able to read the latest chapter along with ads, but Crunchyroll subscribers will have access to the entire catalog for each title.

You'll be able to read these manga online, or on your iOS and Android devices. More details will arrive on October 30th when the service goes live. Here's the full list of titles that will be available: Coppelion, Attack on Titan, Space Brothers, Fairy Tail, UQ Holder!, Mysterious Girlfriend X, A Town Where You Live, As the Gods Will - Second Series, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Fort of Apocalypse, My Wife is Wagatsuma-san, and The Seven Deadly Sins.

Seems like a good way to keep those Attack on Titan fans on the site now that the anime is over. Are you excited or interested in Crunchyroll's announcement?
