Demonbane and Seitokai no Ichizon are now on Crunchyroll

While the world of announcements has been quite kind to fans of Type-Moon (how long am I going to keep harping on that?), we must not forget some of the other kindnesses bestowed upon anime fans the world over. Crunchyroll has added two more shows to its already-voluminous catalog, namely the Demonbane anime and Seitokai no Ichizon.

What the hell are Demonbane and Seitokai no Ichizon, you ask? Good question. Demonbane's claim to fame is as an adaptation of a well-received eroge by celebrated developer NitroPlus (aka Nitro+), also makers of the even more well-received Jingai Makyou. It stars a detective who stumbles onto a mystery involving elements from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu lore.

Well, if nothing else, as a serious game it'll probably be a better Lovecraft anime than the travesty that is Haiyoru! Nyaruani!

As for Seitokai no Ichizon, it's a self-aware comedy anime about student council students writing stories about how awesome the student council is, the better to improve the student council's reputation among the regular students. Meta!

Sounds better than Seitokai Yakuindomo, but will it have hot deer-molestation action? That is a concern of the utmost priority.

The shows are on the Crunchyroll now, and can be streamed in North America, South America, the UK, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, the Middle East, and Africa. Pretty much everywhere, really, though again, the Antarcticans and Atlanteans are getting the shaft. Where's the love, Crunchy folks?
