Despair: Type-MOON's Mahou Tsukai no Yoru delayed again

It is surely a day of darkness for fans of all things Type-MOON, particularly of things to do with the so-called "Nasu-verse" of Fate/stay-night and Tsukihime. It seems that the developer have delayed the release of their next flagship project, Mahoutsukai no Yoru, yet again, this time pushing it back to "sometime in 2011".

The game is based on an unreleased novel by Nasu and takes place before Tsukihime, starring Aoko Aozaki, the cheery Magus that gives Tsukihime protagonist Shiki his glasses. If you've played Tsukihime, you'll know that that's an important thing.

Mahoyo was previously scheduled for a September 30th release, then pushed back to Winter 2011. With just a few weeks left in that season and not a peep from the company, this was probably predictable. Ah well. You guys have waited long enough, a few more months won't hurt that much.

After all, there's still the Fate/Zero anime to look forward to!
