Dragon Ball Kai's Buu saga will last almost a year and a half

Even longer if you find yourself using a hyperbolic time chamber

Dragon Ball Kai has quite a noble goal in trying to cut out all of the added fluff from the original Dragon Ball Z series. Even though I'd seen the original series in its entirety, as well as plenty of times via Toonami as a kid, Kai was enough to prevent a rewatch from feeling stale. It was good fun, though a little strange that it omitted the Buu saga.

But hey, who cares about that now! Two episodes of the new series have now aired, and according to Toei's European website, we're due for 69 episodes of Babidi and his odd-looking Ditto. On the same page, we also find out that the western name for the series will be Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters.

All of this Dragon Ball content has got me hungry for more new content. Which is quite odd, thinking about it, as I also think we should leave the series be. Perhaps it's because I enjoyed Battle of Gods? I'm not entirely sure, so let's just settle for an animated spin-off about Hercule Mr. Satan and his everyday life. I'm imagining it as something similar to Yotsuba&!.
