Dragon Ball Super's English dub airing on Toonami this January

Rock the dragon again

Although you can find Japanese episodes of Dragon Ball Super streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation Now, if you're like me you've been waiting for an English version. Thankfully we won't have to wait much longer as Toei Animation, Funimation, and Adult Swim announced that English-voiced episodes of the new Dragon Ball series will air during their Toonami block this January.

Dragon Ball Super will premiere on Adult Swim January 7th, 2017 at 8PM EST, and Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters (covering the Buu saga) at 12AM EST the same night. Many of the original voice actors (like Sean Schemmel and Christopher R. Sabat) will be back to reprise their roles.

Dragon Ball Super is once again under the guidance of Akira Toriyama as it follows Goku struggling to maintain peace in a post-Majin Buu world. Think of the two recent films as pilot episodes, basically.
