Drakengard 3 DLC gets a trailer full of crazy

Zero's sisters gonna be crazy

Square Enix's Drakengard 3 is one of the weirdest games I've played in recent memory. It's full of bugs, jank, is graphically unimpressive, and generally feels like a very early PS2 game.

Drakengard 3 is also filled with enthralling characters, great writing, fantastic music, and a fascinating narrative. If this sounds intriguing to you, welcome to the Drakengard/Nier franchise.

A trailer has been released for the upcoming story DLC that lets players take control of Zero's sisters in their own separate chapters. The video gives a good idea as to what to expect from the mini-campaigns, each one running 571 yen a piece. The Two chapter will be free to download for a week upon launching on March 6. According to the developers, each chapter will run approximately an hour, give or take.

I have no clue how Square Enix plans to package the DLC for the west, but I know I'll be grabbing these. Despite its many flaws, I found Drakengard 3 to be a gripping experience that I'd be more than happy to put more money into. I also included another gameplay video below for your viewing pleasure.
