Drunk in Japan? Have a better time with these 10 tips!

When I went to Japan, I didn't have the chance to do a lot of drinking. I was vaguely interested in doing a pub crawl, but the other people I was with weren't, so that sealed the doom on that plan. However, if you find yourself bar-hopping over in the East, you might want to follow these 10 tips here to make the experience all the better for you.

Most of these things are common sense, but when you're in a foreign country and out of your element you might forget the simple things. Besides forcing yourself to talk to the other (hopefully drunk) patrons and doing your own ordering, the writer recommends hitting up karaoke with a group. I HIGHLY recommend this, as it is a blast. They also advise you to try and pick up a wench whilst out and about. It might be hard if your Japanese isn't very good, but success is well worth the effort.

Any readers been over in Japan and put these tips into action?
