E3 2012: Live gameplay and announcements ahoy!

You know what's better than seeing actual gameplay of an upcoming game? Watching someone play it while adding some nice and silly commentary to the experience. Today, Japanator/Destructoid/Flixist Editor Bob Muir edited and filmed most of the action performed by Destructoid's very own Jonathan Holmes and Chad Concelmo.

We get to see Jonathan teach us about the values of motherhood as he tackles the greatest game of E3 2012 aka the Pikmin 3 demo. I might have to take back what I have said about Nintendo Land, because Holmes made that Animal Crossing minigame look rather fun. While I might not buy the game, I would not mind playing it if a friend decides to bring it over -- good thing I know someone who will most likely get it.

There is a live battle between Chad and Jonathan in their first experience with Persona 4 as they duke it out in Persona 4 Arena. Before you judge them on their playing style, please pay attention to the commentary and fun that is coming out of the two editors.

And there is one big thing that needs to be told today, Fire Emblem Awakening is getting a North American release. Yet for some odd unknown reason, this important piece of GLORIO information was left out of the 3DS conference -- for shame. To those who were concerned about the state of their Wii, there are plans to allow players to transfer their downloadable titles and save date from the Wii to the Wii U.

Last on the agenda, Nintendo's manliest character is finally getting a September release for his special Dream Collection -- I am so looking forward to this one! You can discover more information on the landmarks mentioned here in the area below the jump.
