Evangelion and Uniqlo pairing up in Japan

In its usual bit of awesomeness, Uniqlo has paired up with the folks at Gainax to come out with a set of Evangelion shirts in the second half of May. Of course they're probably just going to be Japan-only goods, the rat bastards. I'm sure they could manage to save a few and put them in their 5th Ave megastore...

The shirts, of which there are 13 total, will be coming out to celebrate the release of Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance, and will cost a mere 1,500 yen. Not a bad buy at all.

I really hope that con dealers start buying up these shirts in bulk, personally. Finally, we'll be able to see some variety in Evangelion clothing, instead of every person wearing the same damn NERV shirt, even if they've owned it and worn it for 15 years.
