Evangelion plugsuit becomes wetsuit

Stepping away from totally weird activities, otaku idol Shoko Nakagawa appeared on the TV show Tobidase! Kagaku-kun decked out in a wetsuit designed to mimic the plugsuit of Mari Illustrious Makinami, the new Eva pilot in Neon Genesis Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance. Naturally, Shoko-tan went all out, styling her hair like Mari and wearing replica glasses and headbands.

Why did no one think of this before? The jump from plugsuit to wetsuit is a natural one. If I had to buy a wetsuit for some snorkeling, I'd totally pick up one inspired by Evangelion - if not this pink one, per se. My only question would be if guys would uniformly go for Kaworu's plugsuit or settle for whiny Shinji's plugsuit - or perhaps they would rather wear Rei or Asuka's plugsuits? Any of them would be more manly choices than Shinji, really.
