Feast your eyes on WrestleKingdom 11's full card

Japan's Wrestlemania looks awesome!

It's that time of year again as Japan's biggest wrestling show of the year takes place at the Tokyo Dome with WrestleKingdom 11. Every year New Japan Pro Wrestling brings out it's best matches to give fans all over the world a show they will remember. The full card has been announced so let's take a look at what January 4 will bring us.

As usual a reminder that the events leading up to this show have NOT been covered on NJPW's show on AXS TV or right here on Japanator in Strong Style. So spoiler warning for anyone that doesn't want to know what happens between now and then on Strong Style.

Here how the card stacks up:

Pre-show New Japan Rumble

The match for the early arriving fans: A collection of legends, ROH guys, and other guys to get them on the card, And let's not forget Ryusuke Taguchi. This match usually has a lot of surprises and moments to get the early crowd going.

Tiger Mask W vs. Tiger the Dark

A gimmick match to help promote the tv show. Kota Ibushi played Tiger Mask W in the last live action match-- I wonder who will be under Tiger The Dark's mask. I wonder if this will be on the PPV or just in the pre-show.

Juice Robinson vs. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes

It was revealed that Cody is the newest member of The Bullet Club and would appear on this show. The man that "leaves the stars in the dust" will make a big impact at the biggest show of the year!

NEVER Openweight 6-man Title Gauntlet match: Kojima/Ricochet/Finlay vs.Los Ingobernables vs.CHAOS vs. Bullet Club

Two teams start. When one is beaten another team comes in. You have the B-team members of three groups and the oddball champions of a legend, a Junor, and a young boy. Should be an interesting match.

ROH World Title: Kyle O'Reily vs. Adam Cole

Former friends and tag partners take their feud to Japan. Kyle recently defeated Cole for the Title so Adam is looking for revenge. Cole also represents the Bullet Club so that will be a factor.

IWGP Tag Titles: Guerillas of Destiny vs. Global Bash Heel

A rematch of not only the finals of the 2016 World tag league but the G.O.D. defeated Honma/Makabe for the belts earlier in the year.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title: Kushida vs. "Kamaitachi" Hiromu Takahashi

The challenger recently returned to Japan after a run in Ring of Honor. He has also aligned himself with Los Ingobernables now so Kushida has his hands full.

IWGP Junior Tag Team Titles: The Young Bucks vs. Roppongi Vice

Bullet Club vs. CHAOS. These two teams can light it up in the ring so this one will be fast paced and high action.

NEVER Openweight Title: Katsuyori Shibata vs. Hirooki Goto

Former classmates in high school, former partners in Meiyu, and now renewing a rivalry with the belt on the line. They know each other well so this could be the match of the night.

IWGP Intercontinental Tile: Tetsuya Naito vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

Mr. Tranquilo takes on The Ace for the belt. You KNOW Naito isn't going to fight clean so how can Tanahashi overcome that? We shall see.

IWGP Title: "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada vs. "The Cleaner" Kenny Omega

The Cleaner has come through with his year-long plan of winning the G1Climax tournament and getting this shot. It will be interesting to see if the Bullet Club or CHAOS show themselves in this one or if it stays a one-on-one match.

Top to bottom it is a stacked card that is sure to bring the action.

WrestleKingdom 11 takes place on January 4, 2017, at the Tokyo Dome.

AXS TV just announced that they will begin coverage of the event on January 13th. It will be broken into 4 parts and Strong Style will bring that coverage here to Japanator!
