Featured Fan Art: Makacoon and the Iron Manga

Welcome to another edition of Featured Fan Art, the Japanator spotlight that watched Iron Man 2 this weekend!

As mentioned in italics above, I watched Iron Man 2 this weekend, and thought it was great. To honor his superheroism, I had intended to find an artist with some great, highly detailed, incredibly well-composed Iron Man fan art.

Fortunately, I found an artist with a good sense of humor instead, and he goes by "Makacoon". The pages you'll see in the gallery (and translated under the cut) are clearly inspired by this scene from the movie, wherein Tony Stark shows his incredible foresight, having packed an suit right into a common-looking briefcase.

Makacoon decided to explore other, priceless possibilities along that line of thinking in his work "Iron Manga".

Check out more of his work here.
