Featured Fan Art: Ryou

Welcome to another installment of Featured Fan Art, the Japanator feature that makes you wish all these fan artists would quit changing their pseudonyms already, it's hard enough trying to keep up with their gallery updates!

One of the fan artists who changed his (or her) pseudonym is the artist currently known as "Ryou", or "Ling", or "Kimagure", depending on which version of his site you read. Unfortunately, Ryou seems to have cleaned out his Pixiv profile, all but for the most impressive pieces, the ones that show off his talent for constructing elaborate backgrounds easily as detailed as the character art themselves.

He's also known for his participation in Pixiv Fantasia, a collaborative exercise in which Pixiv artists were given a themed fantasy setting to design and describe characters for, creating a detailed history and rich cast that professional anime and manga creators could eventually crib from for the next season's work.
