Final Fantasy 14 has a surprising amount of accounts

That is a lot of registering

Well, here is a pleasant thing to hear. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has over 1.5 million accounts registered now. That is a huge change considering what a mess this was when it originally came out. In fact, turning around a disaster like that into the quality that _A Realm Reborn is? Has this actually been done before? I am stretching to think of something like this. Very impressive work by the team at Square Enix that did the time to make the changes to this game.

I will admit I am a huge fan of Square Enix, but I have got to say that this is one of the several things they have done over the past few years that have really shown they have it together more than the critics would like to think. Unfortunately not all of those games have left Japan (Final Fantasy Type-0) but some of them are on their way real soon (Bravely Default). While we see a trend towards In-App-Purchaes, gatcha games and cheap ports, it is nice to see that games that show genuine care are still being made.
