Final Fantasy XIV ARR 2.1 patch gets a cool trailer

Ten minutes of new content

I've played what feels like an impossible amount of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn since its launch back in August. My friends and I enjoy looking for the tallest buildings in the game world and jumping off of them in dramatic fashion. Trust me, it's a lot more fun than it sounds.

I really like the game.

The first big patch for XIV, A Realm Awoken, is scheduled to hit your platform of choice on December 17 for the very low price of free. It'll bring a host of balancing changes, a new dungeon, new difficulty levels for old bosses, more story quests, housing, and a bunch of other additions to the game. As somebody who has been taking his sweet time through the main game, the new trailer for patch 2.1 succeeds at getting me hyped to finish the already existing content.

Check out the Official Website for more details and watch the trailer above. Are excited to finally dive into the Crystal Tower? Looking forward to buying a house? Sound off below!
