Final Fantasy XV full of pretty tech, pretty boys, pretty cars

I want all three

Much as I enjoyed Final Fantasy XIII, even I could see that the franchise has been in sore need of a fresh approach, and despite having been in development for the better part of the last decade, Final Fantasy XV might just be that game, if new footage leaked from a game show in France is any indicator.

The new footage concentrates on the game's road-tripping aspect, which shows well-haired hero Noctis hanging out with his elaborately coiffed buddies in a sweet ride as they drive around, get out of the car, and frolic about near some local wildlife before gallivanting off to look at the sunset from the top of a hill. Doesn't sound like much, but compared to the brazen linearity of the previous series, it's practically a whole new world (a new fantastic point of view).

Check out another trailer below that highlights the hot new graphics tech powering the weather, terrain, animation, and hairdos of Final Fantasy XV.
