First English screens for Danganronpa emerge

This Vita release will be to die for

Spike Chunsoft's Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a fantastic game.

A combination of Ace Attorney-like trials and investigation, and 999/VLR-like atmosphere and plot progression, Dangan Ronpa is rich with personality. I played the Japanese version back when it first released for the PSP, and it's an experience I had been hoping non-Japanese speakers would get a chance to have.

A fantastic fan translation made that possible a few months back, and now NISA has stepped in to do their own official localization for the Vita release of the game. It should be noted that even if you played it on the PSP, this version of Dangan Ronpa features multiple new modes that fans will likely dig a whole lot. It'll also be fascinating to compare both translations, but that's the Japanese nerd in me speaking.

The first English language screenshots have emerged, and I find myself pleased with NISA's font choices. The text looks good and while I have my own personal preferences over naming conventions, NISA is clearly putting their all into this one.

Check out the screens below and let us know if you're excited for Dangan Ronpa!
