Follow a day in the life of a Japanese video game developer!

Making the game

PAOLOfromTOKYO is back on here once again with his Day in the life series of videos featuring Japanese people going doing their daily thing with their jobs and other life activities.

This time around it's a Japanese game programmer and his name is Masa. They don't mention the game development company by name but the games featured by the company makes it obvious that it's Bandai Namco (known as Namco Bandai outside Japan), the company behind the Tekken, Ace Combat, and other popular franchises.

I've heard that a lot of these companies in Japan are a bit more traditional but a tech oriented company like Bandai Namco seems very modern with certain perks that they provide for their programmers as seen in the video. The amenities provided are what you would expect in a typical office setting but nothing fancy.

The tools and reference materials for the developers provided is very impressive and is expected for a big video game publisher. Most of Masa's day is all about coding but we get to see some cool stuff in his workplace and its fun to see a tiny slice of process of the development of video games that a lot of us enjoy.

Red likes a lot of things from Japan and wants to share more about it with the world. He even likes the bad anime. Sometimes. As long as it doesn't have big boobs. Maybe. more + disclosures
