Details to be included in an e-mail

In a recent newsletter, Viz announced that members of the Neon Alley nation will be receiving a special extended trial for Hulu Plus. The offer is designed to supplement Viz's recent decision to end their digital broadcast service in favor of partnering with Hulu to deliver video-on-demand content. Prospective members who aren't already subscribing to Hulu's premium ad-supported -- I know, there's still ads, even though you're paying a monthly fee -- service Hulu Plus can look forward to an e-mail detailing the offer. No word yet on whether or not current subscribers can apply the offer as credit, though that would seem highly unlikely.

As we previously reported, in addition to all the episodes of your favorite Neon Alley programming being made available through Hulu Plus, you should still be able to access content for free via NeonAlley.com. Like most everything else being streamed through Hulu, you may have to sit through a few ads, but at least you won't be forking over any extra fees. The real benefit in subscribing to Hulu Plus lies in being able to stream the content on your favorite devices such as Pads, supported game consoles, Android tablets and so on. The transition to VOD begins April 1st.
