Friday Night Fights: Love Machine vs Diaboromon

Mamoru Hosoda themed battle go!

*ding, ding, ding*

It's Over!

Someone forgot to teach Charizard Dragon Claw, Dragon Rush, Dragon Pulse, Outrage, and/or Thunder Punch, since his attacks were not very effective on the Azure Rathalos. With Charizard entering the battle unprepared, the Azure Rathalos commenced with the pinning attacks and charging fly attacks. The Azure Rathalos wins! (14 > 6)

Normally, I don’t have the same theme be repeated back to back, but my gut feeling told me that we should have another monster battle. Unlike last week’s fight, we are going to have two characters from two different films directed by Mamoru Hosoda. Without further ado, let’s introduce our two contenders that almost ruined our world through cyberspace. Our first contender almost destroyed our world when he corrupted OZ in the Summer Wars movie, and now he’s back to claim his title as a powerful program. Make sure that you don’t reply to any messages, because the Love Machine is entering the J-tor Cyberspace Arena. It took the combine power of War Greymon and Metal Garurumon to take him down in Digimon Adventure: Our War Game!, and he has returned to unleash his infection in battle once again. His Digivolution is now complete, and Diaboromon is ready for action! Due to the integrity of both fighters, the J-tor Cyberspace Arena has been designed to keep both contenders contained within the arena’s grounds. Our two fighters have a track record for using cyberspace to obstruct the fabric of our world, so the winner will be the one with the most threatening skills.

Your votes and persuasion skills will be the key in determining the threat level of both opponents. Most importantly, be sure to add a +1 to the digital fighter that you side with, since it will allow us to bypass the infections on screen. Love Machine and Diaboromon will fight from today till Wednesday, so make sure that your vote goes up on time. As we being our match, please turn off all electronic devices during the match. That way we won’t have to deal with any problems that are related to infected devices. After the match is over, you can drop by on Friday to see the winner get announced during the beginning of the next match.
