From the sea of your soul, call upon the Persona 3 movie

No evoker needed!

Man, it seemed like such a long time ago that Persona 3 was announced as next on the slate for an anime adaptation. Since then Atlus has changed hands, Persona 4 Golden made waves, and an adaptation of Devil Survivor 2...happened. Yeah, that's a good way to put it.

Now the first Persona 3 movie, Spring of Birth, opens in November, at has a new trailer to accompany the announcement. It mostly features short clips from the first few hours of the game, plot-wise, including what looks to be the fight against the first boss, interspersed with various voice clips. Most notable is finally hearing the protagonist - here named "Makoto Yuki" - speaking, which many fans might not have heard unless they listened to the game's Drama CD audio plays.

He sounds like Gaara from Naruto.
