FUNimation releases on Netflix to support dual audio

The future is now!

Score another win for the anime community today. It seems like only yesterday I was dreaming about getting legal anime content easily into my home. Now, there's just so many awesome options to be able to legally consume the life blood of my day! I've always been really impressed by Netflix's anime line-up, but have just never been comfortable watching dubbed anime. Even if I knows it's a great dub, watching it in its non native tongue just never sits right with me.

Well, the options just keep piling up, as it's been reported by writer Mike Dent, that the option to choose between Japanese and English audio has been confirmed on many FUNi releases. Several sources have also tested this out, and I'll definitely get investigating after I do a  few more articles tonight. There are some notable omissions reported, including Samurai 7, Speed Grapher, and Mushi-shi. They grouping seems to be related to certain studios, but the majority of titles look to be ready to go.

This is pretty excited stuff if you ask me. I know it sounds cheesy to say we shouldn't take things for granted, but this is cool. Now, if we can start getting this option across the board for old foreign films, I'm going to just not leave the house for months! Let's hear it for options!
