FUNimation to put out titles on Xbox Live Marketplace

Starting next week, you'll be able to find the first couple episodes of several anime titles on your Xbox 360. FUNimation is releasing Samurai 7, Gunslinger Girl, Basilisk, and Trinity Blood. As of yet, there's no price announced for each episode. Unfortunately, the episodes will be dub-only, and as of right now, there's no word as to whether or not they'll be releasing entire seasons available for batch downloads and (hopefully) a discounted price. I guess they'll wait to see whether or not it was successful to release the episodes before they make that decision.

FUNimation is continuing its expansion into the digital download market and great titles from FUNimation will be joining Xbox LIVE Marketplace next Tuesday. Beginning June 12, top anime titles from FUNimation will bolster the anime offerings on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Anime and gaming fans will be able to download quality anime series like "Samurai 7," which is the epic anime series adapted from Akira Kurosawa's legendry film "Seven Samurai." Other titles also coming from FUNimation include "Trinity Blood," "Gunslinger Girl," and "Basilisk."
