Get hyped for Chroma Squad's tokusatsu-inspired trailer

Live-action transformation sequence included!

Ahem. Excuse me while I go get my transformation device.

As the resident toku guy on Japanator, it's no surprise that I'm super excited for Chroma Squad, since the game lets us manage our own tokusatsu studio. Best off all, Saban's interference didn't cause Behold Studio to abandon the title's Japanese superhero show references. Combined with a silly live-action transformation sequence, the trailer itself references the classic Super Sentai openings.

While I'm still a little upset that Saban'll get a cut of Behold Studio's Chroma Squad sales, it's good to see that the game's backers are getting the title that they pledged for. Not only that, the Kamen Rider-like character can perform a Rider-like Kick after creating a tornado while riding a freaking motorcycle!

Since April 30 is almost here, my body is ready to awaken its Ultimate Form. On that note, I need to think of a hero squadron name and motif for my show before the game hits Steam. If anything, I might reach out to Japanator's staff and community to help me create the ultimate sentai team, since it'll make the experience even better.
