Get your NOM on with Toriko over at Crunchyroll

Unfortunately, Toriko won't teach you anything about cooking

As if Crunchyroll didn't already pretty much cover all our bases with their streaming anime titles, they've just announced that Toriko will be joining the library. For now, it's set to simulcast on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. PST starting next week (November 18th) with episode 130. Both premium and free members will be able to enjoy new episodes, and older content will be uploaded later on.

Here's the quick synopsis:

In a world where the taste and texture of food is extremely important, individuals known as Bishoku-ya, specialize in the acquisition of rare ingredients and animals. Our protagonist, Toriko, possesses incredible strength and knowledge of the animal kingdom in order to fulfill his dream to capture the most precious foods in the world and create the ultimate dinner course. He is currently accompanied by a weak and timid chef who, inspired by Toriko's ambition, travels with him to improve his culinary skills and find rare ingredients.

Toriko is a great title and I'm glad to see it offered to overseas fans. If you're in the US or Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand or Latin America, it's yours for the taking. If you've never caught the show before, I suggest giving it a try once it becomes available no matter what episode it's on, because you're missing out on a fun ride. It's one of those goofy shows that you can watch any time for some laughs, even if you have no clue what's going on. At least, that's been my experience with it. I can't be the only one who feels that way.
