Go Ninja: Get psyched up for Ninninger's first promos

The Year of the Ninja is off to a good start

I may be late to the festivities once again, but it's time to look at Shuriken Sentai Ninninger's heroes in motion. Silly enough, these videos caught me by surprise, as I wasn't expecting to see a promotional video for the show yet. If anything, this means that the series lived up to its ninja motif before its Feb. 15 premiere.

Based on the two videos, I might have to retract my minor concerns about the series; therefore causing my excitement for the show to return to normal. Also, it's good to see that Ninninger continues the ninja-themed Sentai shows' tradition where the heroes wear regular ninja attire as well.

While we didn't get a good look at the Ninninger's main villains, I find it neat that the Yokai's henchmen kind of look like a fusion between the grunts featured in Kakuranger and Shinkenger. I guess it's the fact that the series' soldiers are basically blue monsters that wear Japanese armor, which made me think of the two shows that I mentioned earlier. One thing for sure, I wish that February would arrive already. That way, I could tune in for a whole year of shinobi-tastic action already.
