Grab your potions: Gust-Chan enters Nights of Azure's realm

Let's get mixin'

It's been a really long time since I played a Gust game. The last one that I went through was Mana Khemia: Alchemist of Al-Revis, which restored my faith in their alchemy-themed titles after Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana left a bad taste in my mouth. Let's just say that I didn't like its backtracking system, as it was easy to miss the shop-related events. With their title, Nights of Azure, featuring a darker story than their usual stuff, I'll admit that they caught my attention a bit.

Since the gameplay reminds me of Lost Kingdoms and the Raidou Kuzunoha Devil Summoner titles, I might check it out. While we're on the topic of Nights of Azure, Gust-Chan from the Neptunia series will appear in the game as a DLC character for those who pre-order the title through Amazon, GameStop, and EB Canada. However, if you prefer to give your PS4 a new background, folks who get it through Best Buy can get some fancy themes for their console.

Judging by both goodies, I think I'll go with the first once since I get to have a cute alchemist take down the game's nightly creatures. Speaking of which, those beasts happens to be the enemies that Night of Azure's main heroine, Arnice, battles while everyone is asleep. Since she has her friend Lilysse the Priestess helping her out, the whole thing sounds like a fun adventure that could deliver an interesting tale on the bond between the two girls.

Anyway, Nights of Azure hits North America on Mar. 29 on the PS4, which isn't too far. In the meantime, you can check out the trailers and themes for the game while we wait for Tecmo Koei to deliver Gust's final product.

To those of you who kept up with Gust's titles, which of their games do you all recommend?
