Gravity Rush demo available in North America today

Gravity Rush is my current game of the year. If you're following me on twitter, you've probably grown sick of the way I drone on and on about how much I love this game. Everything from the aesthetic to the amazing feeling of flinging yourself across the gigantic open world fills me with a sense of awe and wonder. It's been a long time since I played a game that felt genuinely new and fresh.

Fortunately, the western release dates are drawing closer and closer and it won't be too long before you all have a chance to buy the game. In the event that you're somehow on the fence (what are you doing?!), you can now download the demo off of the PSN. If it's anything like the Japanese demo, you'll be able to run around a small area and fool with Kat's gravity powers as well as fight some of the game's enemies, the Nevi.

If you own a Vita, you need to have this game. It's the first true killer app for the young system and a positively fantastic game even outside of that.

Do it.
