Happy Cat Day!

Mewl in delight

The best thing about living in a world with more than one country is that folks in the right frame of mind can celebrate certain holidays more than once. Like Cat Day, which is today in Japan.

Whereas Cat Day in North America usually takes place in late October, Japanese celebrate their feline friends in February. On the borderless world of the internet, that means you can have a decent excuse to appreciate your neko buddies twice a year, at least!

So yeah, pet a kitty, boot up a round of Neko Atsume, and purr in commew-meration of Cat Day. I'm celebrating by taking my own cat for grooming and watching a cool clip of Maru (aka Boxcat), arguably one of the most famous cats on the internet. Check out a greatest hits video for him below.
