Have your first lengthy look at the next episode of Gundam: The Origin

That Artesia, she sad

It looks like the hot, shirtless boys of Iron-Blooded Orphans aren't the only game in town when it comes to Gundam. There's also the undying chronicles of the Universal Century, which Bandai will never abandon so long as there are plastic Zakus to be made.

That in mind, it's time to check out the latest episode of Gundam: The Origin, the adaptation of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's epic re-imagining of the original Gundam storyline. As with the first episode, Blue-Eyed Casval, the series follows the early life of Casval Rem Deikun and Artesia Som Deikun, the siblings who would grow up to become Char Aznable and Sayla Mass, key players on both sides of the One Year War.

The next episode's titled Artesia's Sorrow, and skips forward in time to the pair's time on Earth, hiding from the Zabi family under assumed names. The trailer above helpfully provides the episode's first eight minutes, though in truth there's only about 4 minutes of new footage here, since the thing's front-loaded with a recap of episode 1. The whole thing premieres in Japan at the end of the month, though overseas providers have yet to detail streaming or digital rental offers.
