Hoax: Man says Japan is covering up the nuclear crisis

Recently, a YouTube video was uploaded by a man who claims that Japan is secretly covering up the nuclear crisis in Fukushima, stating that there is no news on any channel and that YouTube itself has been restricted in Japan. Well if it's restricted then how did this guy get his video up? Already there are loopholes in his attempt at a hoax.

The man proclaims that in addition to no news being covered on the crisis that information is being withheld, when really this is entirely the opposite of what's going on. Japan has had near-constant coverage of the situation and the government has been giving multiple press conferences to provide the most up to date information. This video has recently been taken down on YouTube because it violates their policies against "spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content."

So whatever you do, don't believe the hype! I'm sure that if something truly terrible were to happen in Fukushima, we would all know very quickly and that while I don't doubt that politicians and companies are trying to keep the situation slightly subdued, it's only to ensure that people don't panic, which is a good thing.
