Holy Mackerel: Crunchyroll forms their own convention

Crunch and Roll Out

It looks like we're in for a big surprise this year since Crunchyroll gave birth to Crunchyroll Expo, the company's first convention. The neat thing about this news is that it coincided with the service reaching over a million paid subscribers.

Crunchyroll Expo will run from Aug. 25 through the 27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif. Since the group has a good amount of connections and whatnot, it'll be interesting to see the type of goodies this event will have in store for us.

At the moment, I'm not sure what to feel from this turn of events; however, I'm curious to see how Crunchyroll's first convention will turn out.

So what are your thoughts on the idea of Crunchyroll Expo?
