Hurricane Polymar live action trailer features song from Good Morning America

I prefer Al Roker from Today show

Wait, first let's clear this up. There is a band in Japan named "Good Morning America", which for people outside the US, is also the name of a long-running morning show on the channel ABC that has been airing since 1975. This band that has the same name as the show has one of their songs featured in an upcoming live action adaptation of Hurricane Polymar, which was an anime from 1974 by Tatsunoko Productions (Casshern, Gatchaman). Hurricane Polymar is about a crime fighting former investigator that fights evil using a super-powered suit that lets him transform into 5 different vehicles.

This new trailer features songs from the band Good Morning America with their song "Kanashimi Naki Sekai e" (Toward A World Without Sadness) and Nagareda Project's cover of the original anime's theme song "Tatakae! Polymar."

The director of the film is Koichi Sakamoto, whom will be a familiar name for Power Ranger fans as a stunt coordinator and director for the series, as well as being in the film Guyver: Dark Hero as Sakai.

This seems like an interesting movie as to see how they could modernize a very 1970's anime superhero that was all about transforming into vehicles, or if they even include the transforming part since the movie seems to have a modest budget.

Check out the trailer below and a video of the original 1974 anime!
