It's time to celebrate Kaixa Day!

Standing By

Ladies and Gentlemen. The numbers have aligned for us to open our eyes for the festivity known as Kaixa Day. As always, Kohei Murakami, the guy who plays as Masato Kusaka/Kamen Rider Kaixa from Kamen Rider 555, has updated his blog with another post that's dedicated to this joyous occasion. Though technically, there's nothing positive about partaking in a holiday where you act like a total jerk to everyone. Aside from writing his yearly blog post, the guy did a live transformation pose in Yomiuri Land while wearing a shirt of his character, which makes this year's celebration even better.

Interestingly, this also marks my first Kaixa Day after having the opportunity to complete Kamen Rider 555 earlier in the year. While I felt that the show's constant reliance on misunderstandings to create conflict held the story back, the characters and drama were still entertaining. However, the series rushed final arc caused it to become an above average title in my books. Nonetheless, this won't stop me from reminding people about 913 Day.

Anyway, be sure to dial '9-1-3' on your phone as you go out and destroy friendships in the name of love. This means that you do everything in your power to get this person to be with you-- even if it involves tricking two buddies into killing each other. In all seriousness, I recommend that you check out the gallery 0f art pieces that are dedicated to everyone's favorite jerk instead. Also, you can find the list of the artist involved in each piece below.
