J-Novel Club adds In Another World With My Smartphone to its line up


Fantasy, swords, and four bars!

The folks over at J-Novel club have added a new title to their lineup of Japanese light novels for English readers by announcing they will carry "In Another World With My Smartphone" for its premium members.

In Another World With My Smartphone is written by Patora Fuyuhara and is illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. The story follows 15-year-old Mochizuki Touya who is struck dead. Well, it turns out God goofed and to make it up to the late teenager, he is reborn into a fantasy world! As an added perk, he gets to keep his cell phone as well! 

The series currently has seven volumes out in Japan and is published under Hobby Japan's Novel label. The series will be released to J-Novel members and then have its first e-book release on March 23rd, with successive volumes coming out in May, June, and July.

J-Novel Club offers membership at $4.50 a month for an annual membership ($54) and currently runs eight other titles Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash, The Faraway Paladin, Mixed Bathing in Another Dimension, How a Realistic Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, Paying to Win in a VRMMO, I Saved Too Many Girls and Caused the Apocalypse, My Little Sister Can Read Kanji, and My Big Sister Lives in a Fantasy World.

Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. Japanese Standard Time, The President of J-Novel Club will be hosting will hold an AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) on Reddit's /r/lightnovel subreddit! During this Q&A another title will be announced to be carried by J-Novel Club in the near future!
