Japanese TV show tries to solve a "10 year impossible" puzzle

Enjoy another puzzle video below!

Ever been stumped with a puzzle so much that you are tempted to look up the answers? Here is a video making the rounds lately from 2004 when Akihara Toshiko (aged 73), approached the TV show "Knight Scoop" to help him solve a puzzle that has stumped him for about 10 years. Akihara found a string ring puzzle at his doctor's office and brought it to the TV show that does experiments and investigations to help him with his decade of puzzledness.

The "10 year impossible puzzle" video went viral a few days ago but it seems that many other videos featuring the same puzzle being solved have been on YouTube for years now. The title is rather an exageration and it isn't surprising since the puzzle is significantly older than suggested and just wasn't popular. One thing's for sure, it's rekindled my fascination for brain teasers and a thing that people now are things that stimulate brain function.
