Junjou Romantica getting a DVD Litebox re-release

Love lives!

Shungiku Nakamura's Junjou Romantica remains a relevant title for overseas fans these days, it seems, because Nozomi Entertainment announced they'll be re-releasing the entire first season this September in one 3-disc package. It'll feature the Japanese audio with English subtitles and other translations, and some of the other usual stuff: clean OP and ED, trailers, etc.

The whole thing is going to run you US$44.99 and will be available September 2nd of this year.

I'm glad to see this sort of thing happening, because Junjou really is a sweet story (or sweet collection of stories, I suppose, since we don't follow just one couple's trials and tribulations), and the manga is still going strong even though it went down with the Blu ship in terms of licensed translations.

If you're interested in reading more, here's ye olde "Japanator Recommends" piece on the series.
