Junjou Romantica's second season DVD set is coming soon!

Last year, the first season box set for Junjou Romantica was released and Colette gave it a great review. I, as well as many other fans have been waiting for this second set to finally get some dates. I am pleased to announce that pre-release starts on April 5 and street release date will be May 3. Not quite Cinco de Mayo, but I know I'll be celebrating it with some BOYS. I'm not Mexican, but any excuse to party is great by me.

The DVD set will come with the usual stuff, subtitles and clean OP and ED, etc. You'll also get a 24-page booklet with a backstage pass to the production, some character bios and other artwork. Spiffy, yeah? The full 12-episode season will be in there with some new and nifty box art you'll love.

You'll be able to find it on Right Stuf available for pre-order already at $37.49 (MSRP $49.99). The release dates were originally set for February and March, but due to some slow-moving approval process for sales, Right Stuf and Nozomi went and pushed the release dates back for safety. It's mildly upsetting, but at least it's happening. I know I'll be getting my hands on this some way or another.

Who else is looking forward to this as much as I am? Hopefully, the sales will go well enough that we'll have a third season of our beloved Junjou. As I mentioned previously (during Ero week), Junjou Romantica is my favorite BL show out there, so it makes me happy to be able to purchase the DVD set and give my money to the people who can make it happen.
