Justin Bieber auctions off hair for Japan relief

0

Yes, you read that right. In February, Justin Bieber cut his hair from it's normal shaggy mop style to something a bit shorter and more adult, causing a Twitter frenzy after he tweeted out a picture of his new 'do. As we all know, Bieber's fans are usually crazed tweens who would probably knife another girl for a chance to breathe the same air he does, so what does Bieber do? Capitalize on this fact. But hey, it's for a good cause!

Bieber agreed to give his hair to Ellen DeGeneres who then put it on eBay where it raised £25,000, having been bought by Golden Palace Casino. All of the proceeds are being given to the Japanese Red Cross in order to help after their earthquake and tsunami crisis. The hair is now kept in a glass jar being sent on tour where rabid fans can get a picture taken with it for a small donation, which also goes to the Red Cross to help Japan.

But that's not where Justin's giving ends! Although he is currently touring the world, he has agreed to perform on a charity album alongside such performers as Rihanna in order to raise further proceeds for the Japanese Red Cross.

Makes you hate him just a little less, right?
