Kanto snowfall strands Love Livers, snow-covered lines

So to make a SNOW HALATION joke

In Japan, Love Live is probably the fastest growing seiyuu idol media-mix franchise today, drawing tens of thousands to their live events with just a couple years since its inception. Their sold-out Saitama Super Arena live yesterday coincided with one of the largest snow storms in the region for decades. The public transportation system that so many Tokyoites relied on grinds to a halt towards the evening as trains running out of Saitama were temporarily suspended.

Still, it was pretty sight. Click on the jump to see the image gallery of hordes of otaku stuck at the train station, cosplayers, and what have you, via the tweeted photos of attendees. Unlike their last year's arena live, this year's Love Live 2014 ~ENDLESS PARADE~ did not have a soul-crushing 8-hour goods line, and many of the attendees waited in line in shelter. That is a great improvement, especially since it sure snowed lots, and the concert is a 2-day event.
