Kiki's Delivery Service live-action teaser arrives

This time with actual footage!

You might remember that there's a live-action adaption of Kiki's Delivery Service on the way. This is Japan's latest take on the classic children's book series by Eiko Kadono, but most folks on this side of the pond know Kiki due to Ghibli. The first teaser didn't really have anything to see in it, but this one features actual people! Maybe in the actual trailer we'll see them for longer than 10 seconds!

The movie is directed by Takashi Shimizu, who is best known for directing The Grudge. I wonder if you'll see any of that shine through into Kiki? I kid, I kid. Some of the effects don't look that great, but then again, it is only 10 seconds, which is a miniscule amount of time in the grand scheme of things. Kiki's Delivery Service will release in Japan on March 1st, 2014.

Anyone excited to catch this eventually?
