KonoSuba videogame looks like an explosion of fun!

No, you can't steal panties in the game

[Updated below]

KonoSuba, also known as KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!, will be getting a 2D Megaman styled game for Windows PC. Just one look at the trailers, it looks like a homage to the original NES Megaman games but with plenty more to offer than a straight up ripoff. The trailer shows the lead male, Kazuma Sato, as the only playable character who will use weapons such as swords and bows with some pretty strong spells. Good thing Kazuma is nowhere near this competent in the show or it would be boring as hell.

It looks like the game will heavily reference the source material with plenty of nods and hopefully keeps the humor that popularized the show. The KonoSuba game will bear the subtitle as "Resurrection of Verdia" that will bundled with the Bluray and DVD Limited edition first volume release of the second season of the show coming out on March 24 in Japan. For those who need to a refresher, Verdia is the headless knight (Dullahan) whose castle was being attacked by an explosion spell by the best waifu Megumin.

Update: The game was developed by indie developer Krobon Station, who previously developed other games such as Pharaoh Rebirth+ and Action Mogura. Megumin is still best Waifu.

Red likes a lot of things from Japan and wants to share more about it with the world. He even likes the bad anime. Sometimes. As long as it doesn't have big boobs. Maybe. more + disclosures
