Kyoji Asano art gallery opens today in Koga City

Work from Attack on Titan to be displayed

If you happen to be visiting Japan this week, you may want to stop by the Koga Machikado Art Gallery in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Starting today, the gallery will feature the works of Studio Wit's Kyoji Asano who, in addition to his role as character designer for Attack on Titan, has worked on a number of popular series and films such as Ghost in a Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Prince of Tennis, Sengoku Basara and Kimi ni Todoke.

Unfortunately, the gallery will only be featuring pieces from Attack on Titan, Psycho-Pass, as well as illustrations from the opening sequence of a late night variety program he worked on. That said, those who attend will walk away with two gifts featuring illustrations of by the artist -- one of Eren from Attack on Titan, and one of Kogami from Psycho-Pass respectively. The gallery will be open each morning from 9 AM to 5 PM, and admission is free of charge.
